1966 Jaguar E-type here from North Carolina for restoration
Let's see what's under that shiny red paint
How about new floor all the way around
Complete right floor replaced
Now both floors are replaced
And we need a new rear tub. Fortunately shipped just
before the wedding.
Lower section of rear wing needs replacement.
Small parts are fabricated in house.
New rocker panels and the body is back to all metal
With all that new metal, let's make sure the doors, trunk,
and bonnet fit properly.
Miraculous - the bonnet is in magnificent condition
(it had been replaced at some point)
Epoxy primer applied to inner and outer panels
Floors sealed and ready for paint
Amazing, it's not red
Body Primed
Bonnet Primed
Body painted in original opelescent dark green
Reassembly underway with new and reconditioned parts
Upon inspection, the engine is showing it's age
Nothing a rebuild won't take care of
How about hotter cams and stainless steel headers
Freshen up rear end. Customer will appreciate remote
brake bleeder kit.
Make way, here comes the engine
Suspension, steering, brakes... Everything coming together.
That custom made radiator and oil cooler will keep this
car running cool.
